Dear Georgetown Sleep Center Patients,
Morgan Records Management is the official custodian of medical records for Georgetown Sleep Center. This website will remain active as a resource and point of contact through our designated records custodian for the duration of our record retention period — up to 10 years (December 31, 2035).
BEWARE: Georgetown Sleep Center is not aligned or affiliated with other sleep medicine practices for transition of care. To ensure a smooth transition, please consider any provider of your preference by contacting your health insurance company for a list of in-network Sleep Medicine specialists in your area. Please refer to the letter you received for local Providers.
Georgetown Sleep Equipment & Supplies will remain open for business at www.georgetownsleepequipment.com
Records for Georgetown Sleep Center will be retained in compliance with applicable state laws and with all federal laws. Copies of records may be requested by selecting the request records links on this page.
Georgetown Sleep Center is a specialized sleep clinic offering end-to-end care—from evaluation and testing to treatment and equipment—helping patients identify the root cause of sleep issues and achieve better, healthier sleep.
Notes For Patients
Your health records from this Practice will be transferred to Morgan Records Management, LLC (“Records Custodian”).
The Records Custodian will continue to maintain your records in accordance with applicable confidentiality and security standards and with other applicable laws. Your records will be destroyed no less than seven years after the last date of services you received from this Practice, although most records will be held for at least 10 years from the date of last service, depending upon applicable state and federal record retention requirements.
