We offer a variety of tests at the Georgetown Sleep Center to determine if a patient has any sleep disorders.

  • Sleep Study: Overnight or daytime sleep testing, also known as a polysomnogram, this study helps diagnose sleep disordered breathing, sleep apnea and other sleep related behaviors.
  • Multiple Sleep Latency Testing (MLST): Testing during a series of short nap periods to provide an objective measurement of sleepiness.
  • Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests (MWT): This test measures your level of alertness to determine the effectiveness of your sleep disorder treatments.
  • Home Sleep Apnea Test (HSAT): An HSAT is an alternative to traditional in-lab sleep studies when sleep apnea is suspected. Our Sleep Physician determines if you are a candidate for the HSAT, or if an in-lab study is required.

We put tremendous value on patient education, so during each test your personal sleep technician will educate you on what is happening, and why.
