Dr. Keilty Darnall was born in Boulder, Colorado and grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Darnall attended the College of Natural Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin from 1994 until 1998. He returned to Jackson and earned his Medical Doctorate at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine.

Dr. Darnall completed an internship in Internal Medicine in 2002 and completed his residency in Neurology at the University of Texas - Houston Medical School from 2003 thru 2006. From 2005-2006, he served as Chief Resident in Neurology.

Following residency, Dr. Darnall completed a one-year fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology/Epilepsy under the direction of Dr. Jeremy Slater at University of Texas - Houston Medical School with the Texas Comprehensive Epilepsy Program. He then completed a one-year fellowship in Sleep Medicine under the direction of Dr. Richard Castriotta at The University of Texas - Houston Medical School, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Darnall is board certified in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the Williamson County Medical Society, and the Texas Neurological Society.

Dr. Darnall and his wife, Emily, have been married for 17 years, and they have two daughters. Emily is a Certified Nurse Midwife.
